The Bay Fish and Chips Website Launch

If you ever find yourself walking along the beach promenade in Stonehaven, keep an eye out for The Bay Fish and Chips, a popular fish and chip shop serving the local community and tourists alike for over 14 years now. Oh, and they’re so good, they’ve won awards.

The Bay’s popularity and success has grown considerably in the last few years, and owners Calum and Lindsay Richardson were keen to look at how they market themselves – in particular their online presence. They recognised that websites serve as a storefront and they wanted The Bay Fish and Chips website to reflect their maturity as a business and their innovative nature.

The result? The Bay Fish and Chips has an Eat Marketing designed website that is user-friendly, informative, fresh looking, and, most importantly, fully responsive.

Our team of designers, developers and copywriters did what they always do when we put together a marketing plan – they went to the heart of The Bay Fish and Chips in order to fully capture the essence of what the business is about. Our approach is always personal, and we get to know our clients and what they want by holding regular get-togethers, visiting the business in question, and by really listening to what is needed and why.

We also worked closely with The Bay’s PR agency, Taste Communications, who, we are pleased to say, were really impressed by our personal approach and commitment to understanding our clients’ needs. Here’s what Fiona Neville (from Taste Communications) has to say about our work for The Bay Fish and Chips:

‘When I start to work with a new company, communication is my number one priority to get right. I have to say that Eat Marketing were absolutely spot on with this and I couldn’t fault them in any way. I never had to wait long for a reply and I always felt like they provided my client and me with their undivided attention.

‘As an added bonus, I felt like I could ask them as many questions as I needed. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them in the future – and of course, working with them again.’

The Bay’s new look and feel is great. With a fresh shade of colour inspired by the sea and cool, contemporary photography tinged with earthy hues and dusky blues, the Bay’s website impresses at first sight; but it is also easy to navigate – and all the information customers need to find is clear, concise and a joy to read. Foundations are also in place for an online shop so that as a business, The Bay Fish and Chips can reach even more people with merchandise that extends beyond their carefully sourced and expertly cooked food. Take a look around and you’ll learn everything there is to know about this award-winning, independent fish and chip business that is run with passion and pride.

We’re really pleased with the finished result; when it comes to online users, we’re dab hands at creating a website that people want to use; and we know how to make a brand stand out. But don’t just take our word for it, take a look at what Calum Richardson says about working with us here at Eat Marketing:

‘I was very impressed by Eat Marketing’s attention to detail with my website, it truly was second to none. I really appreciated the fact that they made a real effort to visit and get a feel for my business before even starting to work on my website. From doing so, I felt confident from the very start that they would portray both myself and my business perfectly.

‘I wanted to use a company that had a food and drink background and I wasn’t wrong in thinking so as it made the transition completely seamless.’
