

Having worked in the fish and chip industry since the 1960s, the Zannetou family came to us looking for takeaway business marketing that would support the development of a brand that represented their passion and knowledge as well as working for their quickly-growing business. It was essential for the brand identity to consistently communicate the family aspect of the company, as well as the locality and expertise.

We created the new brand name Zan Fish, inspired by the 'Zan' from the family name 'Zannetou', and accompanied the new name with the strapline 'Finest fish and chips' to clearly represent what customers could experience.

Once the brand name was established, Zan Fish were next in need of a strong brand identity that would have the flex to work across a new website, social media, a restaurant and an event food trailer.

From growing their social media following with consistent posting and competitions to launching a successful online ordering campaign that drove footfall and online orders (particularly crucial during COVID-19), our takeaway marketing expertise helped Zan Fish thrive. We've supported them with blog writing and email marketing, poster designs, press releases, and even helped them get featured on the Derby edition Monopoly board. Our team has loved finding new ways to spread the delicious news of Zan Fish far and wide.
