Mambo Mobile Bars came to us with a vision for refreshed branding that better represented their fun and cheeky personality, alongside a functional and aesthetic website that appealed to their wide target audience throughout the UK.
Mambo Mobile Bars offer a mobile bar hire service, perfect for any event. With a flair for fun and finesse for fab cocktails, Mambo brings the wow factor to any wedding, private party and corporate function with their bartending skills and impressive drinks offering.
The key part of the brief was to create a vibrant brand that placed cocktails at the heart. We incorporated the team’s passion for cocktails into the logo design, featuring a mixing stick to ensure everybody immediately knows what Mambo is all about. A bright, bold pink was introduced to make the branding pop whilst also symbolising confidence, playfulness and the fun nature behind the brand.
We also introduced an illustration style to Mambo’s branding that has been used across the website design and merchandise such as beer mats, t-shirts and vehicle livery.
Although Mambo offers a range of private packages and bar hire options, our website strategy positioned the focus on corporate, weddings and private functions to encourage more bookings from a range of audiences.
A key aspect of the website design was to include a bespoke bar configurator, offering customers the opportunity to design their dream bar. Using the virtual configurator, users can choose their bar style of preference before customising with unique textures, patterns and lighting colours. To represent Mambo’s fun personalities, we used engaging videos, in-action photography and engaging copywriting to intrigue and excite readers into imagining Mambo Mobile Bars at their event.
Mambo was on the verge of closure due to the pandemic’s devastating impact on the company. However, they came up with the innovative idea of creating a ‘Mambo in a box’ home cocktail kit to bring its service online. Through conducting cocktail classes via zoom and delivering cocktail boxes directly to customers’ doors, they could still enjoy the Mambo experience from home.
We contributed to the success of this service by improving the website to showcase the available packages, assisting with advertising to increase awareness, and providing photography and video to bring the experience to life.
As part of our SEO strategy support we initiated a SEO competitor review, using the information the review provided, we were able to better optimise the website SEO and reposition their strategy in order to target a wider online audience, as well as emphasise Mambo’s key USPs.
We also provided social media strategy, paid ads and planning support, including a PPC consultation which took into account the new and improved SEO strategy. Mambo’s online brand now incorporates their fun personality, whilst also being fully optimised from an SEO perspective to drive revenue.
