Churche’s Mansion wanted to create a new dining experience in Nantwich and needed help branding a destination that would attract customers from all over Cheshire. It was important the look was inline with the grandeur and history of the building, together with the contemporary, fine-dining style of food, whilst ensuring it was easy to use across a variety of platforms.
By drawing out interesting aspects of the Churche’s Mansion building, from the woodwork to window patterns, and combining them, we created a unique logo that can easily be applied across all assets. We also brought together the date the building was built (1577) and the date the restaurant was established (2019), along with the strapline ‘Experience somewhere different to eat in Cheshire. Visit the Mansion.’ to help establish the feeling of a unique dining experience.
To promote the Mansion’s rich history we designed and delivered a table top guide, bringing together the story of the building’s past owners, historical events in Nantwich and hopes for the Mansion’s future with engaging copy and historical illustrations.
We delivered a website that showcases the building’s history, features restaurant menus and also allows online table booking with an integrated booking system. Churche’s now has a user-friendly, responsive website with a blog and dedicated careers page, where users can upload their CV and covering letter for vacancies advertised.
As part of the branding project, Churche’s needed a variety of menus that would work well when together or apart, this included an expansive cocktail menu and illustrated kids menu. Not only did we deliver sleek, modern menus but we also advised on presentation and personalised menu holders.
Supporting the launch of the new restaurant and bar, we provided social support by devising a social strategy and providing weekly posting on the company’s social platforms. One of our most viral posts for Churche’s Mansion on their Facebook page, saw a reach of over 55,000 people with over 1,800 likes, 390 comments and 1,700 shares.
