Wanting to inject some personality into the branding and add a distinctive look that could be rolled out onto their new website, Honest Bread’s key aim was to build on the great following they had achieved from its birth in 2019, with particular emphasis on sourdough.
By applying our skills in food marketing to the digital marketplace, we helped create Honest Bread, a modern, yet honest, online presence. As part of the brand development, we organised a photoshoot (which we attended at the crack of dawn – 3am to be exact!) to capture the expertly handcrafted products made in the Honest Bread kitchen.
From social media assets, to seasonal campaigns, we’ve worked alongside the Honest Bread team to create a cohesive brand look and feel. As well as this, we also introduced a new font and a quirky, yet transparent brand messaging, in order for the brand to stand out amongst competitors, and showcase their expertise and attention to detail.
As an artisan bakery that prides itself on creating fresh, delicious baked goods, with a modern twist, it was also important that their new branding educated customers about the sourdough process and conveyed the bakery’s love for sourdough. Using bespoke illustrations and captivating copy, we were able to effectively educate users about their knowledge on all things sourdough.
We’ve recently been working with Honest Bread to create seasonal packaging in the form of boxes for customers to take away their deliciously treats. The key aim with the boxes was to add an extra layer to the Honest Bread brand, and personalise the customer experience.
Now armed with a user-friendly website and bespoke packaging, we also applied our food marketing expertise to their new online menu designs, online ordering integration, and ongoing SEO and content support, updating the strategy to keep the business visible and ranking above its competitors.
