Indulgence Patisserie were in need of a refreshed website design to raise brand awareness online and showcase their array of artisan desserts, available from their network of foodservice wholesalers.
Established in 1998, Indulgence Patisserie started small, developing and selling individual and large artisan desserts to local hotels and restaurants in Colchester, Essex.
Today the business has expanded into a new state of the art bakery, allowing the team the space to manufacture and supply a wide range of own label and Indulgence branded frozen desserts to the UK’s foodservice, retail markets and beyond.
Although the business has developed and diversified over the years, the Indulgence website was outdated and needed reviving to showcase the varied creations the brand baked in-house.
The new website design for Indulgence develops the brand experience, by providing the space to explore their expertise within the foodservice industry.
Each of the business’s three main service areas (Cake Creations, Cheesecake Creations and Bespoke Desserts) now have their own dedicated page to tell the story behind the recipes and creations.
Whilst the key target industries (retail, food service and international) are represented on the ‘About Us’ page, allowing Indulgence to really showcase their offering to the market.
As part of the design process, Eat Marketing carried out thorough keyword research to develop a detailed SEO strategy to help increase the reach of the new website online.
Prior to the refreshed design, Indulgence was using old, outdated product photography on their website. Inline with their bespoke offering, we believed their website should feature unique photography to show viewers just how good their products really are.
Eat Marketing organised and art directed a photoshoot to capture the range of desserts, helping with product styling to ensure each cake looked as good as it tastes. The Indulgence Patisserie team now also has a bank of high quality images to use across all marketing channels in the future.
The refreshed website design for Indulgence Patisserie now represents an established, international brand with the ability to showcase a variety of produce and history behind the creations.
