Hooked & Plucked, based in Workington, started out as family-run restaurant Caspian Grill back in 1983, serving pizzas. With a vision and passion to bring a modern dining experience to the area, daughters, Yasmin and Nadia Padida decided to reinvent the restaurant with a refreshing new look and a delicious offering of chicken and fish classics. They turned to Eat Marketing to bring their vision to reality, as well as develop a new website and menu to complement the brand's personality and new restaurant design.
Eat Marketing set out to visually engage customers and create a logo that could be used effectively across both print and digital marketing platforms. The team met the project brief by integrating the brand’s two primary products, chicken and fish, into a single illustrated element, keeping the logo modern and simplistic while still echoing the brand’s name.
We kept the colour palette fresh by using contrasting pale and dark pinks, as well as a striking teal in both light and dark shades.The vibrant and fun colours perfectly express the brand personality, giving it a unique edge over competitors, and by keeping the colour palette consistent, Hooked & Plucked will achieve greater brand recognition.
The brand messaging, ‘Taste, Enjoy and Get Hooked’, satisfied the need to depict a light-hearted and fun approach, expressing the brand’s fresh personality with clever wordplay.
Hooked & Plucked has a fresh new appearance, complete with strong and consistent branding that complements the new restaurant, menu, and dining experience. The reimagined style makes the brand more recognisable and well-established, attracting both new and existing customers.
