Have you ever stopped to look at your local fish and chip shop takeaway boxes or their plastic bags that are carrying your delicious food?
Many shops just use a plain white design that misses out on inspiring their customers to be excited about the food they’re about to eat or advertise their brand to passers-by.
Zan Fish Wholesale wanted to create a variety of products that could be purchased by independent fish and chip shops to use in their store to help liven up their marketing without incurring heavy costs and asked Eat Marketing to help.
Having worked with Zan Fish on their branding, website and social media, we were in the perfect position to create a suitable design for the selection of products in the new ‘ENJOY’ range. Within the range would be takeaway food boxes, plastic bags and greaseproof paper.
The idea behind the ENJOY range was to encourage customers to be excited about the food they were about to eat through a clean, simple and attractive design that could easily fit in, yet still stand out, at any fish and chip shop.
With a nod to the Zan Fish brand through the colours used, the finished design states ‘Enjoy fish and chips’ with a playful twist on the typography with a fish and wooden fork replacing certain letters.
The recyclable ENJOY takeaway boxes also feature quirky quotes exploring the history and popularity of fish and chips.
The boxes are available to purchase in a 6 inch, 10 inch or 12 inch size and we think they are going to be very popular along with the plastic bags and greaseproof paper.
