To bring The Bay Fish and Chips social channels to life and raise brand awareness, we recommended creating a set of bespoke, branded GIF stickers.
The Bay Fish and Chips is a multi award-winning, internationally recognised fish and chip shop located in Stonehaven, Scotland. Working in partnership with Eat Marketing, The Bay had already built up a large following on social media with more than 4,000 followers on Instagram alone.
However, with consumer habits shifting towards online ordering, we suggested creating a set of branded GIF stickers as a new way for customers to interact with the brand on social media.
Following a brainstorm of ideas, together with the client we developed a final set of 6 GIF sticker designs. The stickers represent key aspects of The Bay brand and service (such as fish, chips and branded merchandise) along with a few jumping fish!
All stickers use the brand colour palette and illustration style, with micro-animations used to bring the designs to life. Eat Marketing conducted hashtag research to allocate relevant keywords to each sticker, ensuring they can be easily found by users on social media.
Since The Bay stickers launched, they’ve already had more than 29,000 GIF views.
The Bay Fish and Chips now has a set of on-brand, engaging stickers that can be used across their social channels to share their award-winning fish and chips with more people.
