Virtual and physical food events to attend in 2021

As 2020 saw many events postponed or even cancelled, you might not be feeling too optimistic about being able to attend a food and drink event in 2021. However, we’re here to tell you that all hope is not lost! 

We’ve put together a list of all the foodie events that are set to go ahead and there’s a tasty mix of of great food, design, marketing and promotional tips to look forward to: 

 

1. Food & Drink Trends and Innovation Conference (14 January 2021)

At this one-day brand-led conference you have the opportunity to listen to market-leading, brand-side speakers as they share their hard-won insights and experiences with hot topic presentations and panels. What’s more, they are also hosting a virtual alcohol trends and innovations workshop the following day.

2. Taste Cheshire Food & Drink Festival (3-5 April 2021)

Attempting to stage its 20th year festival for the second time, the Taste Cheshire Food & Drink Festival will be back Easter 2021. Taking place on Chester Racecourse, 30,000 people are expected to attend the event which will host over 150 food and drink exhibitors.

This year, the organisers have signed up one of the highest profile group of Chefs yet to grace the hobs on the stage, including John Torode, Gregg Wallace, Chris Bavin and Paul Ranking.

3. Food and Drink Expo (12-14 April 2021)

Running for 26 years, the Food and Drink Expo is returning to the NEC Birmingham where you can find out what matters most in the food and drink industry.

The event is tailored for retail, wholesale and foodservice audiences focusing on finished products, and claims to be revitalised and ready to tackle the key challenges affecting the sectors. If you’re in the food business, you won’t want to miss this.

4. Ludlow Food Festival (8-9 May & 10-12 September 2021)

Ludlow Castle will be open to local food and drink suppliers not once but twice in 2020 for Ludlow Food Festival. The non-profit events are held in both May and September and celebrate all things great about Ludlow and the Welsh Marches from food and drink producers to local bands and the abundance of independent shops in Ludlow.

5. BBC Good Food Show (17-20 June 2021)

After cancelling in 2020, the BBC Summer Good Food show is returning in 2021 and you can purchase tickets now. From live chef shows to masterclasses, innovative and interesting food related products and taste stations, you’ll find everything you need under one roof.

The event is set to be packed full of delicious recipe inspiration, hundreds of artisan producers to shop from and have some of the UK’s top chefs and experts cooking up fresh recipes live on the numerous stages across the Show.

6. Pub in the Park (May through to September 2021)

Making its way around eight different locations in 2021, Pub in the Park is the biggest food and music festival tour in the UK. Each festival celebrates everything there is to love about the glorious British pub; delicious food, award-winning chefs and chart-topping music.
