The challenge

As a trusted wholesale bakery with years of experience, Best Bake had the goods – they just needed a little help injecting some of that flavour and expertise into their online presence. Their brand identity and website no longer reflected the scale or professionalism of their growing operation, and without a cohesive visual style or clear messaging, the team found it challenging to attract new B2B customers or support sales conversations with confidence. They needed a refreshed digital presence that matched the quality of their products and would elevate their credibility, simplify the enquiry process, and serve as a one-stop-shop and practical sales tool for future growth.

Cooking up a fresh new look

Best Bake had the skill, the scale, and the loyal customer base, but what they lacked was a brand identity that truly reflected their reputation. So, we rolled up our sleeves and got to work crafting a look and feel that would do their products justice, baking personality into every layer of their new look. With no formal brief in place, we first led a Discovery Meeting and Content Workshop to help define Best Bake’s goals and build a strategy from the ground up, ensuring that our direction was 100% client-led.

From custom illustrated assets that echoed the bakery’s handcrafted process to a carefully curated colour palette and typography that felt warm, welcoming, and unmistakably Best Bake, we developed a complete visual identity with the power to reflect their unique artisan brand. We shaped brand statements that told their story with confidence, mixing warmth with professionalism to speak directly to the B2B customers they serve. Then, we pulled it all together into a polished brand style guide and asset toolkit, giving the team everything they needed to present a consistent face to the world. The final result? A deliciously modern identity that captures the heart of Best Bake whilst supporting its ambitions for growth and visibility in the wholesale food scene.

Serving style and substance

With Best Bake’s brand freshly reimagined, it was time to create a website that looked as good as their products taste. We designed a clean, modern, brochure-style site with a clear focus on lead generation, giving visitors an instant sense of who Best Bake are, what they offer, and how to get in touch. The user journey was mapped with care, ensuring B2B buyers could quickly navigate to the information they needed and contact the team in just a few clicks.

Visually, the site is crisp and appetising, letting Best Bake’s diverse product range shine through with bold photography, eye-catching videography, and thoughtful design. But just as importantly, we built it to perform. The mobile-friendly layout is optimised for conversions, with intuitive navigation, clear calls to action, and simple enquiry forms that make getting in touch feel effortless. For the Best Bake sales team, it’s now a reliable, good-looking sales tool that supports their conversations and showcases the business in the best possible light.

Bringing the bakery to life

To fully capture the heart of Best Bake, we knew stock imagery wouldn’t cut it. So, as part of our full-service approach, we planned and delivered a 2-day photography and video shoot, bringing their bakery floor, team, and fresh-from-the-oven products to life on screen.

The first day was dedicated to product photography here in our studio in Coventry, whilst for the second we made the trip to North London to capture the business at work.

From initial moodboarding and art direction to a detailed shootlist tailored to Bake Bake’s goals, every frame was carefully thought through to reflect the energy and authenticity of the brand.

On the day, our media team captured candid, behind-the-scenes moments that gave the website a real sense of place, showcasing the skilled hands, warm ovens, and bustling atmosphere that define Best Bake. The result? A vibrant visual library of photography and video content that doesn’t just look good, but works hard across the website, social media, and sales materials. It’s a clear example of how Eat Marketing goes beyond strategy and design, offering media packages that give food and drink brands the tools they need to stand out and connect with their audience visually.

Developing a sub-brand as Best Bake grows

Following their acquisition of a local bakery in early 2025, Best Bake returned to Eat Marketing for help integrating a new sub-brand onto their website. Named Best Bake To Go, this venture offers individually-wrapped cakes and sweet treats with extended shelf life, marketed towards cafes, convenience stores, and grab-and-go outlets.

Cooking up a unique sub-brand strategy

We began with a kick-off meeting to explore and define this new sub-brand identity, ensuring it integrated seamlessly into the larger brand whilst maintaining its unique positioning. This included designing a stylistically congruent logo with updated fonts and colour palettes, delivered as part of a revised style guide.

Rather than shoe-horning the sub-brand into existing pages, we built dedicated spaces — including a homepage, product page, and new To Go section — to clearly differentiate the two offerings and streamline customer journeys. These were populated with bespoke copy, menu integration, and brand-new imagery, supported by a comprehensive SEO strategy to boost discoverability.

Capturing the essence of Best Bake To Go

Following our previous two-day shoot for the main Best Bake brand, the business trusted us once more to capture the essence of their To Go products with an on-site photoshoot at our studio in Coventry. This required organisation and diligence on our part, with a full shootlist and art direction helping to make Best Bake To Go shine on camera. From this session, we were able to create a resource bank of versatile, high-quality images to showcase the Best Bake To Go product range, providing the business with a suite of assets to use in all sub-brand publications moving forwards.

Using a comprehensive sub-brand strategy that included identity and integration, content population, local and regional SEO services, and an on-site photoshoot to create a suite of high-quality product imagery, Eat Marketing helped Best Bake to successfully launch their new To-Go service venture.
