We’re exhibiting at the Food & Drink Expo 2018!

On the 16th April 2018 we’ll be heading to the three-day Food & Drink Expo (FDE) at the Birmingham NEC. An amalgamation of five shows, the FDE is a highly anticipated event for buyers, marketers and food producers in the culinary industry.

This year the 2018 Food and Drink show will bring together the Foodex, The Ingredients Show, The National Convenience Show and the Farm Shop Deli show. The event allows attendees to uncover the latest industry trends and recent product launches along with exploring the future vision for food and drink in the UK.

After first visiting the show in 2014 and exhibiting in 2016, we can’t wait to be back showcasing what Eat Marketing can offer to the food and drink community. This time around, we’re offering a free business marketing review to visitors. With over 1,500 exhibitors due to be at the show, there’s going to be plenty of opportunities to explore the fantastic variety of businesses in the industry and discover their innovative ideas. This will help the Eat marketing team keep our fingers on the culinary pulse!

Live events and speakers

As well as the wide array of exhibitions, there will also be 100 live events taking place at the show, including 250 inspiring and educational speakers from across the industry. We’re looking forward to hearing Kate Hardcastle, a business expert often seen in the media, speaking on building the future around customers. There’s also Adam Leyland’s speech ‘The King and I’ – as Editor of The Grocer magazine, we’re sure Adam’s session is sure to be engaging!

Discovering the latest products

From popcorn and coconut water to gin the new trends in 2016 were health and fun orientated. The Food and Drink Expo 2018 will again be an unrivalled opportunity to discover the latest products to the market. From pistachio butter and bottles of breakfast sauce to the latest freezers and chillers, there’s going to be a wide variety of new products being revealed at the show.

Networking

Combining five different shows under one roof means there’s going to be visitors coming from all different areas of the culinary industry. With 30,000 visitors expected to visit this year’s show, the three days will be a great chance to meet with fellow foodies, explore ideas and network for future business.

As you can see we’re hungry for the FDE to start later this month! From sampling some of the best food on the UK market, discovering new products and sharing our years’ of industry knowledge with visitors, it’s going to be an amazing few days!
