Simpsons Fish & Chips : Our Night in Stroud

Earlier this year, award-winning fish and chips business Simpsons Fish & Chips announced their plans to expand and open a new takeaway in the picturesque town of Stroud. To celebrate this big event, owners Bonny & James Ritchie were quick to start organising the new shop’s launch, along with kickstarting a campaign to spread the word. Here’s what happened.

How we helped

To ensure strong brand consistency across all of the assets relating to the launch campaign, we supported Simpsons in the creation of various materials, from flyer menus to email marketing and even flags!

Working alongside them and their PR team, we were able to support them in the creation of an impactful launch campaign.

The big night

After a quick drive from Eat Marketing HQ, down the M5 and through the picturesque villages of Gloucestershire, we soon arrived into Stroud. Before even spotting the new shop, we could hear the buzz of talking and laughter, as well as the amazing smell of fresh fish and chips. Once we were in the midst of the party, we were able to sample the delicious food, which on top of fish and chips included deep fried halloumi, their famous frickles (fried pickles) and vegan cheese and onion patties.

Looking ahead

Simpsons have enjoyed an incredibly busy few weeks at the Stroud shop, and we predict the success of the new takeaway will continue. In the meantime, if you find yourself in Stroud, be sure to pay them a visit – we promise you won’t be disappointed.
